ALL-NEW! ...SORTA! Let me explain.

This is the updated, most current version of the brushes I use on a daily basis for comics and illustration. I'm constantly tweaking the settings on these brushes to make them just right. I can't say they're perfect (perfection is a myth!), but I can say they're dang good!

This set includes the original pack (13 brushes in total) PLUS an additional 26 new-to-you brushes, including a few brushes that are focused on the nitty-gritty comic stuff...word balloons and panels! Dry brushes! Inking brushes! Textures! Pointy ones! There's something here you either need or want to use!

These brushes were created for 600dpi, but these will work at 300DPI just fine (you might just need to decrease the brush sizes to your tastes, you do you.)

Some of the older brushes from the original set have been updated, some have been completely retooled. In the updated set, you'll find ALL NEW brushes, such as:

• EL CAPITAN - This is the modified, updated brother of my original "Main Boy" inking brush. El Capitan is my go-to brush for work these days.

• SHARP GUY - I use this in conjunction with El Capitan. Sharp Guy is just what he says he is...Sharp! I use it for feathering and some crosshatching, but I've used it to ink full pieces. If El Capitan is somewhere between a brush and a pen, Sharp Guy is more of a brush that you can get a fine point with.

• INK FILL and STAEDTLER - Based on Mike "Mr. Hellboy" Mignola's pens he uses to draw, well, Hellboy. The ink fill is very nice for achieving the appearance of real brushed on ink. The lighter the touch, the lighter the ink.

• MR. 90'S HATCHER - The 90's are alive...at least in my heart they are! I wanted to make a brush to achieve the look and feel of those great inkers from the 90's (Tim Townsend, Scott Williams, Alex Garner) with a brush that replicated the crosshatching they were so good at. Probably won't be your main inker, but if you're looking to do some shadow lines on Captain America's shield, this will be your go-to brush!

• TEXTURE BRUSHES - Add some grit to your work! Lots of dry brushes and ink fills here for you to use and play around with.

• COMIC TOOLS - These are the biggest addition to the set, I think. I use these brushes for all my comic work, and I can't live without them. ...okay, I COULD live without them, but I don't want to! There's 5 brushes in this section, a Word Balloon brush (which I use for all my hand-drawn word balloons!), a Panel Single Liner brush, which is basically a set-in-stone brush for outlining your panels. However, the best brush in the set is the PANEL DOUBLE LINER!

I've made a quick video showing how to use the Double Liner brush. Hopefully you find this brush as time saving as I do! Included in your downloads.

INSTALL these brushes by dragging the file from Dropbox or iCloud directly into Procreate. I think it should be that easy. If you're having troubles...uh...YouTube it.

LASTLY I want to state that these brushes, while pretty awesome (if I do say so myself), can't make you magically better. That's on you. Practice. Draw. Create. Throw it all away. Start again. Maybe these will help you, maybe you'll delete them and ask for a refund (NO REFUNDS!)...either way, I look forward to seeing what you make. Thanks!!
